I decided to do my blog post about the benefits of driving hybrid vehicles. I fully believe that in the near future, traditional gas-powered vehicles should be and will be replaced for more fuel-efficient vehicles. The first of these types is the hybrid vehicle (though it contains a gas-powered engine, its effects are much different, as I will explain in my project). I was hoping to be able to do the photograph-caption option for this project, but my topic leaves me with little choice but to do a powerpoint.
For my project, I will detail the benefits that the use of these cars will bring to our environment, as well as our pockets. Though I am primarily advocating hybrid vehicles for their environmental benefits, it is also important to highlight the economic benefits as well. In today’s struggling economy and the state of the oil industry, it can have a great impact on one’s decision to drive hybrid vehicles.
For the actual powerpoint slides, I will try to visually represent the differences between hybrid cars and traditional gas-powered vehicles. An easy way to do this is to provide a picture of a traffic jam and the subsequent emissions it causes. I will also show the effects of the results of these emissions on our environment as well as the improvement that will result with the decline in gas-powered vehicles.

Good choice. I think many people are looking at hybrids because of the outrageous gas prices.
I really look forward to the info you will present. I only wish I could afford a hybrid as the price of gas is killing me these days. I am also interested in the positive effects that a hybrid my have on our environment.
